As we pulled into Fargo, and turned into the drive of the C'Mon Inn, we were greatly amused by the restaurant at the corner... the Space Aliens Grill and Bar. This is even more amusing when you realize how into alien stuff Wiley is - his mom lives in Roswell NM, and they've both maintained for years that she from Venus, and he is, therefore, half Venusian.

Since we were already running late, we couldn't stop on our way in, but vowed we wouldn't leave Fargo without checking the place out. Our opportunity arose on Saturday afternoon, when we were both hungry from walking around the street fair for half the day.

The entire outside of the building was very over-the-top in its decor, and so I got a couple of pictures of it on our way in.

Then we went in. And found that the inside was just as over-the-top as the outside. It was an interesting combination of ChuckE Cheese and an adult hangout. There was a huge area of video games and other kid stuff, and the whole center area of the restaurant was full of families and hollering kids. Then there was a giant bar as well, complete with alien bartender and patron.
Unfortunately, my other pictures of the inside of the restaurant did not come out so well at all, so you can't see just how alien-rific the place was. It was, well, truly overwhelming. Definitely worth having flown halfway across the country to see. Once we were done eating, it was definitely time to head back to the retreat, and hang out some more.
